Opinion on Racism: Ive noticed that Racism is cried out as often as Americans are crying out Terrorism. It really bugs me, while what constitutes as legitimate racism, may vary from person to person, this is how I see it. Racism is a verbal proclamation of hate towards another human being based on their skin colour, I will not be going into hate crimes on this rant, Im more so tackling the mindset on hating a different colour of skin, bigotry and prejudice will also not be tackled. Now, hating someone based on their skin colour is by far one of the most ignorant things any one person can do. Considering that human beings are in itself, one single race. Their used to be different races of humans, Neanderthal, Homo Erectus and Homo Habilis to name a few, but they are log extinct which leaves us, Homo Sapiens. Every human being alive on this planet today falls under that single race of Homo Sapien. So think of our different skin colours as fur for animals, different breeds persay. Thats the difference. So what are we left with? People of different skin colours, who most likely developed their differing skin colours based off of where their ancestors had originally come from. Clearly if two Africans move to Canada and then have children, their children arent going to be white. So lets say, you are going to hate someone based off of where their ancestral line is founded on, I have a bit of a news flash for you. Homo Sapiens are not naturally indigenous to most of the lands we now inhabit. In fact, it was mainly Africa. The reason why we had so many people scattered around the world pre-Viking/Columbus is due to early Homo Sapiens needing to migrate as the climate changed naturally, something that all animals do as a survival instinct. Continental drift an ice melt simply separated us, allowing our ancestors to evolve differently to better suit our superset climates, until we developed the technology to navigate and explore the far reaches of the planet efficiently. In summation, if you harbour negative feelings toward people based on their skin colour, please know that your ignorance is unmeasurable because without the actions carried out that has given us the variety of people we have today, you probably wouldnt exist in the first place.
