Opinion post.... I used to love the Hockey News .. Now I cant stand it, their analysis sucks, and since some of their writing crew switched hands i dont think they have been nearly as good for several seasons.. I remember they used to cover teams around the League including the wings, now its like they jip the wings and the smaller teams and struggling teams out of the the story amount some of the other teams get. i felt utterly ripped off a couple years ago, i think i wound up with like two magazines that had the wings on the cover and a short article *shakeshead* its sad to see its not a balanced paper, they focus more on the likes of Sidney the Kidney , boston brewins, and LA KINGS, and a few others more than they do the rest of the league.. some of these other teams were lucky if they get a paragraph in some of the issues. so my BEEF if you will isnt just about the lack of wings coverage, its the lack of LEAGUE coverage. and I mean you can tell who they are at favorites with because of how their covers trend. *shrug* sidney the kidney makes alot of cover photos.. Just sayin. I know it is because hes the FACE of the NHL but id rather see a hockey puck on the front cover than sidney... Okay rant complete.. they asked me what they needed to do to get me to resubscribe because they wanted my business.. i told them to balance out the teams in their book so that i can read about the league and id be happy. well anyway, if you got through this short book for writing i have, congratulations... the challenge was not great for you :) Have a beautiful day people! - Amanda
