Opportunities for Artists/Writers/Performers Get Vocal Singing Group A new singing group for 13 to 18 year olds started in Norwich this week – and there is still time to book a place. Get Vocal is run by Community Music East (CME) at The Garage youth venue on Thursdays 7pm to 8.30pm, starting September 12, priced £24 for 12 sessions. The project offers relaxed and informal training in different singing styles, masterclasses and opportunities to perform. Clara Wiseman from CME said: “These fun workshops will help young people discover what the voice can do, develop vocal skills and improve confidence. Whether you’re into pop or rock, rap or r’n’b if you have a passion for voice this is you!” The project is supported by Youth Music and using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
