Opportunities for Communities On Tuesday 30th September there will be a fantastic opportunity for local organisations to meet with major funding bodies and to get inspiration from other community projects from across the region and beyond. Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway, with support from Dumfries & Galloway Council and the Langholm Initiative, have organised a major funding roadshow and market place in Langholm at the Buccleuch Centre from 2 -8pm. Exhibitors include The Big Lottery, Heritage Lottery, The Robertson Trust, Keep Scotland Beautiful, Holywood Trust, Sports Scotland, D&G Council , LEADER, BBC Children in Need and more... There will be information from support organisations, including the Development Trust Association, Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway and also presentations from the Upper Eskdale Development Group, Creetown Initiative, Fintry Development Trust and others who have already achieved great things in their community. There will be opportunities to talk directly to funders and also to book a one-to-one appointment to discuss a particular project.
