Opposing sides? Clearly, the other one is bent to use violence.These elements of MNLF claim to only want peace, but they use arms, not the force of reason, compassion, and dialogue. They do not provide a real account of what they have achieved in the dialogue in the review of the 1996 Final Peace Agreement. What they want that they cannot force in the peace process, they take up arms and impulsively declare independence, which is clearly beyond the conversation on autonomy. The question is who supports their clamor for independence? Why suddenly take up arms for it after losing in the bid for governorship in ARMM? Those involved in this attack do not have compassion for the people (their own people); they do not provide a way forward to better the lives of people in the south. #Zamboanga
