Ordinary people revealed themselves to be heroes that day. In the face of uncertainty, panic and destruction, we have within us a humanity that will not be extinguished. We will rise again and again. We will not sit quietly by as our brothers and sisters need our help. Its in our nature. Of all the things we learned on 9/11 and in its aftermath, I hope that we can remember that we are many and we are one.
