Organization of the Day: Wharton State Forest - New Jerseys largest state forest offers volunteer opportunities for any interest. Pick your hours, days, and interest. Historic interpretation, gardening, research, trail maintenance, etc. The choices are endless. We need assistance with special events, Batsto Historic village, and many other things. Volunteers of all ages can be accommodated, if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Service projects, internships, school projects, and scout projects are also accommodated.
