Originality and creativity is so important but I think respect is more important. Be your own person/Dj, by you copying another person/dj time and time again you will always be second best to that person/Dj. The industry slowly dies when you get Djs that dont respect other Djs and appreciate the art. Passion comes from within an individual and not from copying another Dj/person. Learning from another person/Dj is good but replicating the exact hustle and style of another is pathetic and weak. A fake might look/sound like an Original but the Original will last longer and remain an original and so for a fake. Originality keeps you fresh and growth will come rapidly, copying another might make u seem good to those who havent heard the original but consistency is what the Original will always have over the copy-cat.Respect your fellow Djs/entertainers and more so respect the music. We do this for the love. Greed will make you become that fake and will be self exposed. Hope this travels to the needed eyes and ears. The Beatz Go On and On and On .....
