Originally designed by the prominent Boston architectural firm Cabot, Everett and Mead, this 1892 Colonial Revival residence had been substantially altered by fire, neglect and unsympathetic alterations throughout its history. Collaborating closely with the owner, the residence regained much of its original character with the removal of 1970’s modern decks and sliding glass doors and the addition of several period appropriate features, including a balustraded entryway and a columned rear porch. Internally, the home features a Cook’s Kitchen with strong connections to informal dining, the Family Room and the Porch. Completed 2009
