#OromoProtest I still have vivid memory about how the Muslim committee of Dimtsachin Yisema vanishes the gloomy cloud of intense suspicion and potential horizontal conflict they were assumed to had a head; and finally left with only yet unanswered legitimate concerns: get your hands, my gov, off my religion. Loads of conspiracy theories at the very beginning that instigated spontaneous misgivings; triggered intense reservations; religion-partisan pundits to concoct anti-thesis on the scenarios of islamic government guided by the vibrations that deliberate and indeliberate erroneous rumors produced. lots of bewildering propaganda, orchestrated documentaries- poorly organized drama but only in the eyes of literate sect of the society, intolerably radicalized experiments of the world, terrorizing consequences of islamic laws in africa and east, ......all these and many unmentioned propaganda warefare were fused both to antagonize the non-muslim community against and isolate the committee from the muslim community. the failure in both and staunch determination of the committee forced the government to launch the infamous documentary on etv followed by incarcerating many. Religion, most sensitive supreme part of human identity, the issue is, pronounced agitation among the majority was what was most manifested at the very beginning. The outstanding discipline and unwavering commitment the committee applied to publicize its legitimate concerns both to muslim and non-muslim community breakthrough all sort of odd and made horizontal conflict/tension unlikely true. May all the rumor circulating here on fb regarding oromo and non-oromo conflict confirmed fabricated; and crossed the unproductive confrontation easily and make sure that its a firm protest in order to address their deep concern on the Addis Master Plan. Ethnic politics is very much exposed to political dramas and sensitive to fanaticism and vandalism. All the burden of falsifying layers and layers of propaganda, political dramas and real fanaticism and vandalism from the youth lies no where but on the shoulder of the protesters and organizers. *You shouldnt necessarily agree with the Master Plan. but stand with the idea that every citizen/group of all kind have constitutional right to assemble and voice its concern peacefully. and jailing, killing and beating should never be justified. I hate Jawars politics and I am sure it goes nowhere. it doesnt mean I am stupid enough to pretend as if nothing happened on peaceful protests.
