Orthodoxy is serious, full-blooded Christianity - the Apostolic kind that enabled the Church to thrive through the persecutions. It isnt watered down stuff that is barely Christian - it is Christianity that most westerners have never learned. Go to an Orthodox church and youll find lots of men there - unlike modern western churches, because these men realise that it is strong, masculine, a place where men can understand. It isnt the debased liberalised, secularised, politically correct stuff that passes itself off in most western churches today. If you want real Christianity - the kind that the Apostles and the Fathers had, there really is only one place to go today. This is the Christianity that can stop Islam in its tracks, this is the kind of Christianity that Christ intended us to follow. His Way was radical for its time, and in its own way is radical today, the Way is the only way forward for mankind, the mankind that is to be continued in Sheol with God, participating in His ongoing adventure of the Cosmos. We are only at the beginning, we are in school, but hereafter, those of us who attain to His company will participate in His great adventure. Failure to learn His Christianity, the only real version, will fail entirely.
