Osasuna’s Nino Suffers Torn ACL Osasuna has revealed that striker Nino has suffered a torn ACL which will force the Spanish attacker to spend a significant amount of time out of action in the coming season.Nino Osasuna will be forced to do without striker Juan Francisco Martinez Modesto, more commonly known as Nino, for an extended period of time as the club has confirmed that the 33-year-old has suffered a torn ACL. The club is unsure about just how long the forward will be out of action, but it is certain that Osasuna will need to replace Nino for the coming months. With the loss of Kike Sola to Athletic Club Bilbao, Osasuna does not have much depth at striker and the loss of Nino could create a serious problem for the Spanish club that is expected to be in a relegation battle this coming season. The club has yet to announce any specific details regarding Nino’s recovery and future but it is expected that the club will now be on the market for a new attacking player before the new campaign begins.
