Oscar Pistorius - No CPS would have charged him eith premeditated - TopicsExpress

Oscar Pistorius - No CPS would have charged him eith premeditated murder had they genuinely intended to convict him. It was sll a show, apart from the superb work of the prosecutor, the rest wanted a platform for Pistorius to appeal to the publics sympathy; drfence counsel must have told his client not to worry, put on his most worried expression, and go through the motions. Its plain disgusting. Any law student would tell you premeditated murder is when you PLAN IN ADVANCE to murder someone, like an assasination, when you manage affairs in such sequence knowing full well snd intending that it will lead to a victims death. Pistorius didnt plan it. But he knowingly committed murder in anger. The right charge would have had him convicted without a shadow of doubt. But the establishment, knowing that had they appropriated the right charge, would have had difficulty finding him not guilty while the whole world watched. There is a thing called double jeopardy, which means you cannot try someone twice for. murder. Africa is a commonwealth country, British legal system like Singapore and Malaysia, but the fine print of the law and little details in legal procedure have been amended to suit the culture of governance in each country. So I cannot say if Double Jeopardy applies in Africa, which would mean Pistorius can blade his way free. I hope not. I dont see why they would go with murder when they could have done it from the start instead of wasting the taxpayers money. But if they do, you can be sure there us a catch somewhere. Pistorius will not serve life Ill tell you that.
