Osmundites oregonensis in matrix with well preserved petioles, - TopicsExpress

Osmundites oregonensis in matrix with well preserved petioles, twigs, roots? The plant is visible on the bottom so it runs the full length. The other parts visible must belong to the cycad but I do not know what I am actually seeing. Great preservation. The petiole on the back is very distinct with ridges like a reed. Very intriguing specimen and another of Paleobotanist Irene Gregorys old personal collection . 4 pounds 14 oz. 7 x 5 x 5 There are 6 pictures here.
