Oso Story: So a quick version, ms. oso escaped from work, was found by a neighbor who was then convinced by some folks that it was their neighbors dog and they would bring it home. Luckily the lady got a description of the car & the direction they drove in. That day we put up tons of posters & the next morning we went to local LAPD and the shelter to put up posters. We went back to the area and put more posters up and just after we left a car pulled up, saw a poster and said oh shoot (or something similar) and tore the poster down. Thanks to the fast thinking of all those at Bestor Architecture including Tiffany Collinge Henry Cheung Bianca Bolfa Daniel Rabin Danielle Yip Sunny & Stacey they got the make, model and plate for the car. Lapd kindly ran the plate but could not tell us more than the car was not stolen, etc and that possibly they could have a unit canvas the area. Tom Perkins had the great idea that it was Halloween and a perfect time to walk the neighborhood handing out fliers (great thinking Tom!!!) and as he was doing that HE SPOTTED THE CAR. He called me and as we were talking I got another call and it was a young woman saying she found our dog playing in the street and saw our poster and wanted to return her. She wanted to meet at King (yay public space). So tom drove over there, and as he left he saw THE CAR WAS GONE! and when he pulled up to king the CAR WAS THERE! yikes. He told me if I did not hear from him in 5 call the police. I decided to call dispatch anyway to see if i car could swing by and as i was doing that our friend Neal Fraser was on the phone with Tom giving us all the thumbs up. The dog finders were fairly nice and got $60. Morale of the story, if your dog goes missing post, tweet, ig and canvas!
