Osric Chau is announced as a guest at Midwest Media Expo! Osric is a versatile young actor whose star is on the rise with a slew of upcoming high-profile projects this year. He broke out as the fan-favorite character ‘Kevin Tran’ on “Supernatural,” and executive produced The Akira Project, even starring as Kaneda! Chau appeared in a pair of studio feature films; beginning with a lead role was the geeky ‘Peng’ in the Paramount Pictures comedy, “Fun Size,” opposite Victoria Justice. He followed that up with a supporting role in Universal’s Pictures’ Kung-Fu actioner, “The Man with the Iron Fists,” opposite RZA, Lucy Liu, and Russell Crowe. Additionally, he can be seen as one of the main characters in the highly anticipated live-action web-series “HALO: Forward Unto Dawn,” a companion endeavor to the HALO 4 video game. Chau’s first big break came as a result of doing his own stunts and showcasing his martial arts abilities which led to his role as a ‘Wu Dang’ grandmasters (played by the late David Carradine) prodigy in the television movie “Kung Fu Killer.” He was next tapped to portray the supporting role of ‘Nima,’ the featured Tibetan Monk in Roland Emmerich’s disaster epic “2012” with John Cusack.
