Osteopenia and Osteoporosis Not a lack of calcium, but a lack - TopicsExpress

Osteopenia and Osteoporosis Not a lack of calcium, but a lack of calcium absorption due to lack of iodine to feed the thyroid gland. Thats where the bone loss begins. Without iodine the thyroid can not produce the hormone (calcitonin) that allows for calcium absorption and utilization. Not only that, but when the thyroid is weak the ovaries wont produce progesterone.....a hormone that not only stops bone loss, but stimulates bone rebuilding. Need help? If youre like most, you need it far more than you probably realize. Id be honored. Personal Message me here on FB and we can arrange for either an office visit or phone consultation. -dr dave frahm, nd In His Service for The Body
