Other Truths in Psalms ... the value of meditation ( sa pagninilay) of the Word of God bilang sumasampalataya sa Diyos! This is not only done in praying and knowing what the Word says! But meditation helps and enables our confidence to grow as like King Davids sa kanyang pagtitiwala sa Diyos: Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,, my lips shall praise You, thus I will bless you while I live ; I will lift up my hands (itataas ko ang akin mga kamay) IN YOUR Name. My soul shall be satisfy as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise YOU WITH JOYFUL LIPS. When I remember You on my Head, I meditate on You in the night watches, because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will REJOICE. My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me (PSALM 63:3-8, NKJV) I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in thy percepts, and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will to forget thy word (PSALM 119:14-16). The words Testimonies, the Law, statutes, Word, percepts, Commands, ways, and commandments may be viewed as being synonymous with the Bible. The Psalmist (Believer) takes delight in Gods Word and, he rejoices in the testimonies pf the LORD. We must do the same, and the more we get into the Word through prayer and meditation, the more JOYFUL WE WILL BE! And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes (Psalm 119:47-48)> NOTICE HOW THE PSALMIST loved the commandments of God and took great delight in them. This is good goal for each of us ...to strive for. it is clear that meditating on the words of the Bible will make this possible for us. By meditating of Psalm 19:14 and making it our prayer : Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer, AMEN--SO IT BE! DAVID PRAYED THIS PRAYER , AND SO MUST WE. IN CHRIST ALONE. HALLELUJAH AMEN. Like
