Otieno Kajwang had a road accide on Friday Last week along the Sondu-Oyugis road. There are speculations that he suffered internal bleeding after the accide which might have led to the cardi arrest and eventual death According to a police report, Kajwang’s driver Mr. Richard Oduor lost control of the vehicle when he swerved to avoid hitting a pothole along the Sondu- Oyugis road. The silver Toyota Prado rolled severally and landed on its left side. The vehicle which now lies at the Oyugis police station is destroyed with windows and side mirrors shattered. During the accident, Otieno Kajwang‘s body guard’s arm was fractured. Both the senator and his driver were transfered to another vehicle and were complaining of some pains. During a press conference on Wednesday after Kajwang’s death, Raila Odinga said that some ODM party leaders had on Friday requested Kajwang to seek medical attention but be insisted that he was ok and din’t see the need to seek any medical checkup. Even as a postmortem is expected be done on Kajwang’s body today (Thursday), there are speculations that the senator’s cardiac arrest was a result of internal bleeding from an internal injury he suffered during the accident. According to HealthTap , unattended internal bleeding can lead to a heart attack. Severe internal bleeding causes significant strain on the heart and its functions which can result in a myocardial infarction which is also known to the layman as heart attack
