Ouch! Just woke up to let Beasley out back door. I am barefoot. Beasley pulled and leash yanked out of my hand. Its dark,but we live on highway and if he really realized what happened he might go exploring so I wanted to get him before that happened or he saw Bus Guys cat. Makeshift step outside sliding door goes down on one side(big slab I wouldnt be able to move) and apparently it went down further since I last went out that door(plus its dark).I step down only for one leg to be so much higher that I lost my balance. My toes bent back and if I tried to regain balance they wouldve been all broken on that foot so I just let myself fall backwards into bushes and have the old cup of coffee I was going to dump in bushes spill all over me as I fall onto the step n bush backwards. Where my toes and rest of foot meet and all the way up my leg hurt. Had to go limp across yard to grab Beasley and my hand ,arm,and toe scraped up. Toes are red,swollen,and numb on that foot,but I can walk,so I figure its not broken. Stings a bit. Might try a shower,but I dont want to fall and have my roommates rescue me naked lol,so maybe I will sponge bath coffee n nasty stuff from step n bush off of me. My whole right side not too happy with me right now lol...but I will live...might not be able to sleep,but I will live. How embarrassing. Glad no one saw me fall.
