Ouch!!!! Kakana Ka Majani I hear a certain yoghurt mind is insulting slum dwellers? Someone tell the yoghurt mind that slums are *fortunately* voting machines. It is these slum dwellers that make their gods ascend to presidency. It is these slum dwellers that supply fresh salad to their magnificent offices(if at all they are magnificent). It is these slum dwellers that chip in our economy, we need their manpower. We have artisans among them and we have hairdressers too among them. We have teachers among them and other job cadres. Surely, we can play politics but we cant use dung in our arguments. Status - social, economical and political is utter temporary. Culture, too, is not static. Things change! To Mathare residents: be strong. Kibra: Pamoja. Korogocho: Strong. Kiambiu:Amani. Mukuru:Your morning is coming. Kwa Njenga: It is not by choice that you are in those shanties....pamoja!
