Our 2014 season came to a glorious end, yesterday. We lost the Invitational Tournament Finals to NECC by 5 runs. The highlights of the match were two amazing batting innings by Prasanna Mahendran (NECC - 132 runs) & Zohaib Nawaz (SCCC - 145 runs). Batting first NECC 253/10 in 35 overs. SCCC 248/7 in 35 overs. This week we are also saying good bye to our captain, friend, wall, rock, & Ganpati of SCCC - Sandeep Anugu Reddy. He is moving to TX :( Sandeep became a Columban in 2006 and brought instant stability to our batting order coming in at one down. His God is Sachin Tendulkar. Our Rahul Dravid is Sandeep - calm, intelligent, humble, honest, full of class, leadership, and sportsmanship. The Spirit of Cricket was always upheld when he captained the team.
