Our 2014 – 2015 Moebius Syndrome Awareness Season got underway - TopicsExpress

Our 2014 – 2015 Moebius Syndrome Awareness Season got underway on November 1st 2014 with the launch of our Moebius Syndrome Family Holiday Heroes Campaign. This year we want to honor all of our moebius families as our heroes. Not because we can, but because we should. Websters dictionary defines heroes as: “People who are admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities.” That definition perfectly describes our families with special needs individuals in them. Each day we show how brave we are just by living in a world where we are not yet considered part of the norm. Each day we show people our finer qualities hoping that they will out shine our weaknesses. Each day we prove ourselves to be heroes. Please send your moebius syndrome family holiday heroes nominations to us here on facebook or email the information and a photo to us. tgsmith1963@yahoo Each night we will be posting photos of our Family Holiday Heroes. We need you to help us spread awareness by sharing all of our photos on your facebook wall and asking all of your facebook friends to like our facebook page and share our photos then asking their friends to do the same. facebook/pages/Many-Faces-of-Moebius-Syndrome/189215821115287 Each year we set goals on facebook to keep our awareness campaign going and growing. This year our goal is 10,000 likes to our facebook page by MSAD 2015. With your help we will accomplish this. But we will not stop spreading awareness until we have reached out to the entire world population which currently stands at 7,271,718,450 and counting. To do this we are going to have to get FIRED UP and work as hard as we can to teach the world about the global moebius syndrome community. Lets teach them how we smile with our hearts by showing them our compassion, kindness, love, and support. Lets introduce ourselves to them as their neighbors, co workers, teachers, students, and fellow human beings. Lets show them our differences and similarities. Lets let them know that as a community / family we may bend but we will not break. We may get beat, but we will never be beaten. Lets make them AWARE! Thank You & God Bless
