Our 40 member Voices of the Desert Chorus is having a fabulous fund raiser this coming week end on Sunday November 24 at 3 P.M. The location is at the intimate Playhouse Theatre located on the ground floor of the Viad Corporate Center at 1850 N. Central Ave. (just north of Mc Dowell Rd on the southwest corner of Central and Palm). Step just outside the lobby and you will see a beautifully manacured park filled with beautiful bronze statues created by some of the most prominent artists in the Southwest. This function is a fund raiser to support and futher our mission to serve as embassadors to and for the LGBT and allied communities in Arizona. In our five year history we have donated a portion of our procedes from every concert to various LGBT youth organizatons like one n ten, etc. The title of this concert is called Afternoon Delights and serves as an open house where the chorus will perform along with many of our fabulous soloists. There will be gift baskets for our silent auction, hors doeuvres and libations. Tickets may be purchased by going to phoenixtheatre.
