"Our Ancestors came from West Africa not East Africa and Egypt." ^THIS IS FALSE People who say this do not understand anthropology and migration patterns. The vast majority of the Bantu lineage in the eastern and southern regions of Africa is speculated to have originated around the Bite of Biafara in Nigeria/Cameroon. Prior to about 1000 BC the vast majority of West Africa was inhabited by Pygmy peoples. These short stature people are our ancestors but they looked nothing like the taller more robust Africans that dominate West and Central Africa today. Most of the so called "West Africans" that exist there today migrated there about 3000 years ago. The Patrilineage of many west African tribes like the Akan, the Dogon, the Tikar, the Yoruba, the Fulani and many more actually came from the Nile Valley if not Canaan and Saudi Arabia. The bottom line is that Africans NEVER stayed in one place throughout history. It is a very difficult task to Pinpoint the exact geographical locations that every last one of our ancestors resided in, but what we should no is that our genetics are the same and we come from the same lineage.
