Our Beloved Black Standard of Beauty!!! We are not apologetic about this; Our Black skinned sisters are the Queen mothers of the Black race and of course, the champion of all beauty!!! We give thanks to our uncompromising beautiful, Black, ebony, raven, shining, skinned sisters. Our radiant “Blacker than the sky at midnight”.!!! We give thanks for unharming their full mushroomed mouth, their beautiful broad nose, their generous full flowered Congo, Kenya, backside!!! We give thanks, because for too long many have abused, dishonoured, degraded the Queens, and for too long they have been denied of their crown!!! We give thanks to the Queen of Queens, mother of beauty, from them all the beauty of the Black race sprang from, to be real, the worlds beauty!!! We give thanks to the first in the order of creation, the first inhabitants of mother earth. Our darkest skinned sisters mothered the universe!!! We give thanks because for too long these ones have not been held in high regard, they have not been respected as much as they deserve!!! We give thanks because Black people have been taught how to forever deny our most gorgeous sisters their real crown!!! We give thanks to the Queens because our people do not know that our Blackness is what dominates us as a people, be it physically or mentally!!! We give thanks because if we fail as a people to give honour to these Blackest Queens, we have failed to respect our true selves!!! We give thanks because these ones are not the bleaching freaks, these ones are not and will never be the weaves, wigs-craze!!! We give thanks to our most amazing sisters, Yeye Akilimali, Sister Sonia, and a lot more for keeping it real and for few of the quoted words!!! -Ifágúnwà Tèmítópé-x!!!
