Our Choir Christmas Music program at church tonight, which included 4 extremely talented Mercer students....a cellist, bass violinist and 2 vocalists (one being the son of our Minister of Music), was very successful. There was a big spread of Christmas goodies afterward..everybody took something, so there was a lot! But something happened during our concert which almost ruined the whole night.....2 cars in the church parking lot were broken into. Purses were stolen, as well as some other things. There are evil people out there....what a shame...for this to happen at this time of year and at a church! Not only were valuables stolen, but the car windows/windshields were shattered. I feel so sorry for the friends who are the victims.
