Our Client is seeking an experienced, dynamic, energetic Sales Person from the Construction Equipment Sales and/or Vertical Material Handling Sales worlds. Position is in Melbourne, FL. Preference will be give to a candidate experienced in material handling sales who is mechanically inclined. It is most important that the candidate is experienced in the construction and or material handling fields, and preferably,hoist sales. Must have some sort of a background from the material handling sales field: such as; selling hoists, construction equipment, forklifts, heavy equipment, mechanical equipment and items, vertical material movement products, material lifts, or some similar professional sales background that hails from the construction and/or material movement world. The successful candidate must have a high degree of understanding of and be a master at the ability of effective sales discussions in dealing with potential customers, to include the discussions of mechanics, dimensions, electrical operations of our hoist product lines with customers, GC’s, architects, dealers and/or factory representatives. . Job Description includes: Utilize existing relationships to generate and close sales. Generate new sales leads, relationships, customers, distributors, representatives, etc. Follow-up on leads (generated from the above, the internet, marketing programs, telecom leads etc.)., utilizing their talents, experience, enthusiasm and skills to turn leads into sales orders. Meet with prospective customers to determine needs, generate sales, and close deals (as needed). Develop hoist solution concepts. Create & present proposals for and to customers. Achieve and exceed sales goals. Contribute to a positive team environment. Growing and managing existing account base, prospecting for new accounts. Provide regular reports to upper management as required. The Candidate must be able to function independently and carry out multiple tasks throughout the course of the day. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and strong phone skills are a must. The candidate must be open to learning new markets and industries and finding creative applications for our products and services. Job Requirements include: Highly motivated individual. Ability to adapt quickly. Ability to master the concepts of vertical material handling/movement solutions utilizing hoists, platform hoists, etc. Competent in Office Computing to include MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Occasional travel may be required.
