Our Directorate of Emergency Services personnel identified and stopped a vehicle traveling into Gate 10 without authorization to enter the installation this morning. We have redundant and multiple layers of security on the Arsenal as well as very dedicated professional security, police and fire personnel to keep our missions and workforce safe and secure. As a matter of policy we do not discuss specifics regarding our security structure, functions or tactics. We are pleased with how our systems and personnel responded in this case. Our security and law enforcement officers are out there, day and night, always prepared to assess and respond to anything that might come along - they are true professionals. Traffic backed up at all of the gates because of this incident this morning so we really appreciate Team Redstones patience as we worked through this situation. Our tenant organizations require a certain level of security on the Arsenal and sometimes it comes at the expense of convenience.
