Our District II COPS officers spent the morning at three gas stations in Bowie talking to drivers about stopping thefts from cars. Weve seen a 30% drop in this crime so far this year, but we want to see even fewer cases of this often preventable crime. Whether you are pumping gas or running quickly into a store, if possible, take valuables with you or hide them. We want to stop the thieves. Hide it. Lock it. Keep it.
