Our FCCLA Herders are in Salt Lake at the FCCLA National Cluster Meeting! I had no idea what this Cluster meeting was so........ Herder FCCLA is in Salt Lake at National Cluster meeting. Wasnt sure what a cluster meeting was so this is what I found out. WHAT IS A FCCLA NATIONAL CLUSTER MEETING? clus·ter noun \ˈkləs-tər\ a group of things or people that are close together cluster verb: to come together to form a group FCCLA’s National Cluster Meetings bring FCCLA members from across the country together for an annual regional meeting that builds the foundation of the FCCLA experience. The majority of the attendees are members and advisers that have not previously attended the National Leadership Conference and this is their first exposure to FCCLA on a larger scale than their own school or state meeting. National Cluster Meetings are similar to the National Leadership Conference in that they provide workshops on leadership and FCCLA National Programs, networking opportunities, competitive events and, of course, exhibits! Exhibits enable students and advisers to see products and services first–hand that they may never be exposed to in their hometown or local chapter. Exhibiting at a FCCLA National Cluster Meeting is a very affordable way to reach a fresh audience of students and advisers involved in Family and Consumer Sciences education.
