Our Father in Heaven, your name mean faithful, wonderful and protector. You are the beginning and the end. You spoke the universe into creation, yet you love me as if I were your only creation. Today give me a stronger spirit of dependency on you. I was created to serve you and your kingdom and I do this through obedience and faith. You love me and want to shape me. You have a better plan for me than I could create for myself. Tug on my heart today and remind me of my purpose. Father, I come against any bitterness, jealously or entitlement that enters my mind today. In the name of Jesus I claim that these feelings, thoughts and emotions be removed from my mind. There is nothing this world could offer me that compares to the eternal salvation provided to me through Jesus. Help me not to waste time on these feelings today. Lord, only you give me strength. Thank you for my family and the support and love they provide me. Help me to be a better member of my family. Strengthen the generations and keep us protected today. Let our family work as a unit to glorify you. Forgive me today of my sins and thank you for your unlimited supply of grace. Your grace is more than sufficient and a gift I do not deserve, yet Jesus chases me down every morning and delivers it to me personally. This humbles me and motivates me to share His love with others. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
