Our Gan Developmental Support Coordinator, Stephanie Slater, and two Gan teachers, Elaine Berman and Ellen Ungerleider, traveled to NYC this past weekend for a day of learning at the Matan Institute. The Matan Institute is an organization that strives to “advocate for Jewish students with special needs, empower their families, and educate Jewish leaders, teachers and communities so that all Jewish children have access to a rich and meaningful Jewish education”. This training will deepen staff knowledge of inclusion and support the Gans mission of including ALL children in the preschool.
