****Our Greatness Is Measured By Our Service to Others**** I received an email from a member of our community today that made me smile. It’s not a big deal, but indicative of the little things our officers do every day. This person ran out of gas and stalled in traffic on a particularly busy street. Here’s an excerpt from her email. “A police officer arrived shortly after and asked me what happened and informed me that he had called two more police officers to the scene and that they would push my car into the lot. After the arrival of the two other police officers and a nice bystander, my car was pushed up into the lot and to a nearby fuel pump. I am extremely grateful for their service and would like to send them a formal thank you, so that they know I do not take their commitment to Fargo citizens lightly. They really were kind and helpful and made me feel safe. Would it be possible for you to find out who the three police officers were that helped me this morning? Thank you so much. I am really proud of Fargo Police officers today.” Sometimes it really is the little things that define how we are perceived. Officers Grant Kendall, Paul Iverson and Justin Nachatilo are the kind of officers that don’t hesitate to do the little things that make a difference to the people they have contact with in serving their community every day.
