Our Megamouth shark has now been under conservation treatment for the last 2.5 years. During this time he has increased in weight as he absorbs a preserving glycerol solution. We believe he has increased from an original weight of 650kg to something heavier, maybe up to 800kg! So we are running a contest to see who can best guess his new weight when he is weighed on 7 June. The winner will receive free double passes to Secrets of the Afterlife and the Maritime Museum.
