Our New York-based client is seeking several institutional hedge fund salespeople to join a great team. Each candidate would cover a large region within the US. All of the positions are based in New York but the territories would be: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and West Coast. The Northeast person would probably also cover Canada, while the Southeast person would also cover Latin America. Clients and prospects in the Tri-state region will be shared. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience, a deep knowledge of various hedge fund strategies, at least an emerging rolodex of hedge fund investors and a process driven approach to selling. Candidates will be part of a 4 person sales team and the company encourages and rewards the sharing of leads and relationships. Our client is a well-established and profitable independent placement agent who also markets private equity and real estate funds and we are very impressed with management of the firm.
