Our New rescue pups Momma has a foster home that can take her in - TopicsExpress

Our New rescue pups Momma has a foster home that can take her in and work with her on her issues!! Yay! For all you negative people out there who felt we were terrible for taking the pups before the Mother. Sometimes rescues have to make decisions that arent always easy. Sometimes we dont know what a situation is until we come face to face with it. Luckily we knew about the Mothers issues before hand and knew what we needed to have in place before we took her. The family was good with the plans that were made and they knew we were working on finding the right home for the Mother to go to, At no time did we give up or say No we cant help you. They wanted us to come get the pups knowing the Mother would have to wait a little bit more. We did not force them to do it this way, it was something that was talked over with them from the beginning. So please also make sure you have all the correct information before you leave nasty comments on peoples posts. We had to remove the pups first they were in need of medical care that the family started but was unable to continue. Also when you look at pictures of the pups and see those white looking marks on them These are scars from dog bites. They were removed with the knowledge that we were going to also rescue the mother, at no time did anyone say she should be left behind or forgotten. We just needed to find a proper foster home for her that could deal with her issues. As anyone who has ever worked with dogs who have aggressive tendencies, they can not just be thrown into any household. Anyone who knows us knows we always have the best interest of the dog in mind. But we also have to make sure whoever works with this dog can give her the care and training that she needs. I do not know why anyone ever thought we were leaving the Mom behind. Obviously someone just wanting to cause a stir because they have nothing better to do. My advice to them is get a life and if you are so friggin concerned about this dog you feel you need to leave nasty comments. Where were you when we posted post after post, searching for a foster home for her??? You know our business so well and can do it so much better, how many times did you contact us and offer to foster her and to train her? None that is right!! None at all! So the next time you want to tear a rescuer down for how they did something. Make sure you have walked in their shoes for a year. Deal with all they have to do. Then if you still feel the same way I will listen to you. I have 5 dogs because no one would step up to foster or adopt a deaf dog, a 10 year old dog, and a aggressive dog. So dont preach to us how things should be done. Believe me we do what we can when we can however we can. Our first concern is always what is best for the DOG!
