*** Our Ollie *** There will never be another like him !!! Right now he is chasing John Farley all around Heaven giving John the look....lol. Ollie would chase the girls (and me) around the house and then swat us when he was in the mood. He would grab my leg and bite me if I wasnt getting him his breakfast quick enough...:) Oliver had to have two (2) potty boxes cause he would not use the same one for both jobs. Ollie wasnt much for being held unless he wanted to be in your lap while he was sleeping but he let you know real quick if you were disturbing him. He was born a little, sickly barn kitten and grew to be about 18lbs. NO mouse was safe in the house from him even though he was declawed. After we moved back down here from being on the corner up on FlatIron, he loved getting to go outside and explore the backyard. I even let him have a sleep over one night in the cat shelter with the other cats but he told us he didnt want any more of those...lol He was ruler of the house and put up with us humans and the two canine sisters that he had but he always let it be know that he was the king. John Farley was scared of him and wouldnt even come in the house if we were not home. Ollie just had that way about him.....One time one of the Terminix guys was at the house to spray and asked about the dogs and if they bit or not - I jokingly said no, but you better watch out for Ollie. Well, Ollie followed that man down in the basement, all around the main floor and then he even followed the poor guy upstairs where I could hear the man telling Ollie, get away, get away.....we sure had to laugh over that one. Last night I spent most of the night holding and rocking Ollie - he had lost weight and was down to 6 lbs. His lung cancer finally took its toll on him. He was not in pain until yesterday and we had told him that we would not let him suffer, ever, so today we took the trip over the Hicks Vet Clinic along with Jessica & Ashley and we said our last goodbyes. Ollie will rest out back under an apple tree alongside Ashlynn Rose. Some might think it is silly to write about a cat but Ollie was part of our family for over 12 years
