Our Precious LORD JESUS is given to us by our Great Father in Heaven that we might always stand in confidence. "Wherefore also it is contained in the Scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a Chief Corner Stone, Elect, Precious: and he that believeth on Him shall not be confounded" (1 Peter 2:6). It is our duty-- even privilege-- to keep "looking unto JESUS the Author and Finisher of our Faith" (Hebrews 12:2). "Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our GOD, until that He have Mercy upon us" (Psalm 123:2). Jesus is The Source of Mercy, Hope, and everything pertaining to life and sustenance. (Jude 21) "Keep yourselves in the Love of GOD, looking for the Mercy of our LORD JESUS CHRIST unto Eternal Life." (Titus 2:13) "Looking for that Blessed Hope, and the Glorious Appearing of the Great God and our Saviour JESUS CHRIST." (Psalm 145:15) "The eyes of all wait upon Thee; and Thou givest them their meat in due season."
