Our SBN family has lost one of the greatest guys weve ever known. Jason Banton, Sir Wadsalot, or for most of us Wads, was killed in a motorcycle accident in northern Virginia yesterday morning. He was riding his new Buell Ulysses that he loved dearly. Wads was often the glue to held this group together, chasing us down if we stopped posting, bringing people together after the site went down, and providing a voice of reason in some of the most epic online battles ever to grace the pages of a forum. He was the guy any of us knew we could count on, he was always good for a laugh, and he effectively turned track leathers into a Darth Vader costume on Halloween. He coined the term stoppie-face. He had a passion for the rumble of a V-Twin and was the charismatic leader of BSVOIFKY (or something like that... buy an SV or Ill fn kill you). He let me be an honorary member as a TL1000s owner. Life had raked him over the coals a few times, and he gave a part of himself to this country he loved very much when he served in Iraq, but he was indomitable. He had recently married a woman that he was completely head over heels in love with, had a great job and the perfect bike. Life had just started to pay back the debt it owed him. Wadsy, youll be remembered and missed. You were the true friend and stand-up-guy we should all hope to be. Hope to see you pucks-down on the streets of gold someday... -Vince (Koolvk)
