Maybe you’re new to the craft, or maybe you’ve been knitting for years, picking things up here and there as you go. In any case, you’re hungry to master the necessary skills, techniques, and principles that will move you forward. This is the class for you! The Building Blocks series of lessons, developed by Michelle Hunter of Knit Purl Hunter, is a sequential program that focuses on one skill at a time while you create 12 beautiful squares to assemble into a sampler afghan. Each lesson builds on what has been learned, and all of the techniques are clearly explained and illustrated in the workbook and supported by online video tutorials. The once-a-month format allows for plenty of time to practice between classes, as well as requires minimal time commitment (we know how busy you are).
