If you import an ocean container into Los Angeles and need to truck those goods directly to Denver, then you will move your goods from the ocean container to an over-the-road trailer. In those cases we would pick up your container at the harbor and return it to our warehouse where we will have an over-the-road trailer standing by. With timely notice we can pick up your container and transload all in the same day. Transloading is also a way to reduce the number of units you are moving to a distant location. Depending on your product type, you can often put three 40 or 45 foot containers into two 53 foot over-the-road trailers, thus reducing your inland expense. We understand how to coordinate with your trucker to ensure that the empty trailer and the loaded container are here at the same time. Distribution Service Distribution service is separately deliver goods to downstream customer in small batches. All America Warehousing has a well developed warehouse network and flexible shipping methods. We can meet your expectation of saving drayage cost by sending your containers or loose cargo freight to our warehouse close to the port; or, we can help you saving delivery cost by getting your goods to one of our warehouses close to your major customers. After arrival at our warehouse—based on your instructions—we will unload the containers, segregate the goods as needed, and store these in our warehouse. When your client is ready for distribution, simply provide us the shipping instructions and we do the rest. That may include picking the order by destination, affixing labels, palletizing, stretch wrapping, and loading to outbound trucks. We do this every day for many long-term clients. They stay with our distribution service because we are careful and do things right. We take care of their customers by providing an accurate expedited distribution service. Pick and Pack When your clients want you to fill orders from parts or products with many SKU’s and it needs to be re-packed prior to shipping, you are requesting a Pick and Pack service. In most cases, we can provide that service. This service consists of us unloading your container or trailer and segregating large volumes of styles, models, and SKU’s and organizing them in a way that makes it efficient to fill your orders. An example would be if you were an importer or manufacturer sell on eBay or Amarzon, we will pick the goods and ship your different items of goods together per your client electronic order.
