Foot and Ankle Injuries •Balance problems, Ankle fractures, Ankle sprains, and Metatarsal Fractures Functional Capacity Evaluations •Series of tests developed to assess an individual’s ability to return to work. This evaluation can also be used for disability paperwork. Impairment Ratings •Ratings based on the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment book to determine an individual’s impairment after an injury. Experienced in performing both 4th and 6th Editions. Pre-and Post-employment Screenings •A series of lifting and functional tasks to test whether an individual meets the minimal requirements to perform a specific job. These screenings are developed specifically for each company and are a tool to decrease on the job injuries. Work Conditioning/Hardening •This is a program that is initiated after an injured worker has finished physical therapy, but is not quite ready to return to work. The program is set up specifically for each individual and involves cardiovascular training, strength training, flexibility, and work specific tasks.
