Our South Australian Indigenous Pre Recruitment Course finished last week. The graduation ceremony featured traditional dance and drill. 39 people graduated, 10 have also passed their assessment days with Defencejobs and are looking forward to careers in the ADF. The IPRC is a six-week course which focuses on five core training modules: cultural appreciation, language, literacy and numeracy, military skills, physical fitness and vocational training designed to give young people from Indigenous backgrounds the chance to experience military life in an environment that builds skills and self-confidence while respecting Indigenous culture.
