Our Staff love hearing the very honest and adorable expressions which come out of the mouths of our students. So, last semester we started saving and compiling them, ready to share with you. We hope this ends your week with a smile: Our Teachers day while on duty... Teacher: “So, what grade are you in?” Student: “I’m not even in a grade, I’m just a Preppie” A day on our College bus… Year 3 student to a friend: You know Mrs Lockyer, the Prime Minister of our school... A day in our Student Reception: Primary Student: A soccer ball got kicked at my heart, right here. Staff: Does it hurt as you breathe? Student: Yes, my heart feels like it can only breathe half ok. Then with a very worried look on his face, hand on his heart: I just cant feel my heart beeping anymore. A day in the life of a visiting Korean student: The student was distressed as he’d lost his College buddy at lunch. He couldnt remember his buddys name. Staff: “Can you describe him to me”. Korean student: “I cant. You all look the same”. Lots of honesty from our little Kindy students: “You’re pretty, but my Mum says I can’t have a girlfriend”. “You smell really nice, my Mummy smells funny”. Looking around the classroom, asks the Teacher... “Where is your bed?” Upon seeing the Teacher’s 18 year old son come to collect her… “Mrs Debono, your Dad is here to pick you up”! Are you smiling?
