Our beautiful city, Brisbane, is hosting the G20 (Group of Twenty) Summit this weekend. This gathering of 19 of the worlds major economies (plus the EU), represents 80% of the world trade and 2/3 of the world population. It also attracts major protests. Hosting the most powerful political leaders in the world (Obama, Putin, Xi of China, etc.) led to the largest peacetime security operation in Australian history. On the positive note, its a public holiday today :-). Good luck Brisbane.
