Our call to whom resist, to decent JDP members and to the peoples of the world! We call the decent, conscientious members of the Justice and Development Party to resign from this party! We call our people to withdraw their bank accounts and to cancel their credit cards! We call the peoples of the world, who stood up in order to show their solidarity with this greatest people’s resistance in Turkey, to start actions that will pressure the JDP government! The struggle which started with Gezi Park resistance and which spreaded to whole Turkey after the inhuman police attack on 31st May is for “a couple of trees”, for the nature, for life, for our right to the city, for the rights of the people, for our freedom and for democracy... And everyone knows this already. Our people who stopped demolition in Gezi Park, who conquered the squares of the three largest cities in this country and who stood up shouting as “Shoulder to shoulder against fascism!”, now started to acknowledge her own power and sees that nothing can be done despite the people. Our people who stood up around the motto of “Goverment resign!”, knows very well what it wants and what it does not. Our people does not want to be ruled anymore as before and this government is not able rule our people anymore. However there is still a prime minister in this country who is not able to understand this fact: Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. A prime minister who ignores even the most rational and innocent demands and moreover, who continues his humiliating style against the people. A prime minister who tries to divide the people and who is intending to protect his repressive, authoritarian rule with the help of this division. We have to say stop to this man’s power games. If we can spoil his intentions, people of Turkey will win. We will all together build a future of freedom, democracy and peace. This struggle is not a struggle of the non-JDP members against the JDP members; but it is the struggle of our people, whose rights and freedoms are seizured, against Tayyip Erdogan government who serves the interests of a minority that for years has been interlocked around finance capital. And that is why now Tayyip Erdogan defends the police violence which caused 3 deads and 15 serious, 5 thousand causalities; why he does not retreat; why does not listen to the rightful demands of the people and why instead, he tries to polarize and confront the people. Our people who is on the streets has done her duty and will continue to do so. But in order to stop Tayyip Erdogan who intends to divide people and continue his attacks in order to protect his government and serve the interests of finance capital in this dangereous road, pressure must be exercised both in the grassroot of his own party, at the economic level and at the international level. For all these reasons: We call the decent, conscientious members of the JDP to resign from this party! We call our people to withdraw their bank accounts and to cancel their credit cards! We call the peoples of the world who stood up in order to show their solidarity with this great people’s resistance in Turkey to start actions that will pressure the JDP government!
