Our ceremonies teach us to endure but even more so to endure with dignity. When we do so we learn to suffer without thinking of ourselves but focus on our prayers because they are the most important thing we can do to restore the balance within ourselves and by doing so we also restore balance within the universe. Then, we must act with the same focus and dignity and enduring nature that we had when we made those prayers because life itself is a ceremony and because our sacrifices are based on love, for our families, for our clans, for our Tribes, for our lands, for our water, for our air, for the animal people and LIFE.
