Our church celebrated 75th anniversary today. Lots of love flowing through the many memories the people of Calvary share. Every aspect of the celebration was blessed by people if gods church sharing their various gifts and talents. The preaching, singing, decorations, games, connection band and an abundance of food and hugs make for more precious memories . We are a grateful people for today we also celebrated being debt free. Calvary was hard hit by Katrina with the entire front of the church blown away. You could see the cross in the baptistery from hwy 42. Lord thank you for those who went before us and for those who will come after, may this church always be yours and may we seek to bring others in. We are grateful for our pastor , Bill Burk, minister of music, Boyd Tweedy , minister of youth, Brandon McLain, and Charles Tweedy , minister of children and our leader of the 75th planning Trisha Brumbaugh . Thank you , lord
