Our client, a leading contractor who has a proven track record of working on iconic building projects worldwide is currently seeking a Planning Manager to join them on a luxury resort project based in the Far East. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a detailed plan utilising work breakdown structure for the execution of the project in conjunction with the Project Controls Manager with the scope of work, development of integrated design, procurement and construction program, ensure that plans are updated so that information will be available as required on the status of the project with regard of work done and work to be done and the percentage od the contract completed and to be completed including project risk. Other duties will include Working along side the commercial team to ensure that all variations are highlighted, handing out re-scheduled plans and changes to the Deputy Project Director and Project Controls Manager, highlighting the changes. Liaison with the clients planning department and update with client, comparing discrepancies; produce a resources histogram for the project and corresponding S-Curve and revise according to scope changes and producing project daily/weekly/monthly reports. Degree qualified in construction related field You will have : Degree qualified Minimum of 20+ years experience as a Planning Manager on large scale/iconic building or infrastructure projects Previous Far East experience would be an advantage but not essential
